HEA has retained the services of Medavie Blue Cross’s inConfidence E.F.A.P. program in partnership with Shepell-FGI to provide their professional counselling and information services. This program covers a wide range of health and personal problems.

How can an employee or family member access E.F.A.P. services?

 toll free 7/24/365 service & crisis counselling

 

You will be contacting Shepell-FGI directly. They do not share any information on any individual case with the HEA or with Medavie Blue Cross

The program offers comprehensive counselling services such as: personal well being; managing relationships and family; accessing legal assistance; accessing financial assistance; researching child and elder care resources; addressing workplace challenges; addictions; understanding nutrition; accessing health care advice.

 

There is no cost for the initial contact to E.F.A.P. There may be a cost if it is determined that the problem identified will require further services not covered under this service.
